Kier Group is seeking an experienced MEICA Estimator to join the Southern Water Framework team. The role is remote with travel to Southern Water offices as needed, and involves price development for mechanical and electrical work within framework requirements.

You will prepare multi-discipline tender pricing, read specifications, identify risks, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure compliant submissions. A strong background in water industry tenders is essential.

Formación

• Proven track record of delivering tenders and pricing in the water industry.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage a portfolio of projects in a framework environment.
• Strong experience of the Pre-Construction / ECI phase to quickly identify risks and opportunities.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical assets used within the Water Industry.
• Competent in using estimating software and working within integrated multi-sector teams.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare multi-discipline tender pricing and produce pricing levels from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
• Read and understand client specifications and drawings, contributing to design management.
• Identify risks and opportunities, considering site safety, health, quality and environmental issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors and in-house resources, including technical assessment of supply chain quotations.
• Compile final submission documentation ensuring tenders meet Kier and Client commercial requirements.
