Job summary

J Browne Construction is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Estimator to deliver cost estimates for UK water non-infrastructure projects. The candidate can be based at Ilkeston or Apsley, with flexibility for other locations during the application process.

You will review quotations with the supply chain, price scopes accurately, assess risk, and participate in governance. Ideal candidates have MEICA experience and strong communication skills, with readiness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in MEICA estimation within the UK water industry or similar sectors.
• Analytical and commercial acumen with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Produce cost estimates for multidisciplinary water non-infrastructure projects.
• Engage with supply chain for quotations and assess received bids.
• Price scopes competently with risk assessment and governance presentation.
