Job summary

Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a MEICA Estimator to join our team. The role blends technical and commercial aspects, developing project scope, programme and cost for clients in the water sector.

You will support estimating work within existing frameworks, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and contribute to bid submissions. Remote element is possible, with travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating MEICA using CCS Candy.
• Ability to perform first principles measurement and cost estimation.
• Estimate projects across lifecycle with quantitative take-off.
• Understand design and constructability of projects.
• Experience with risk and opportunity management in estimates.
• Water industry knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Disciplined, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel for site visits and office work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce discipline-specific estimates for MEICA components.
• Contribute to project solution understanding to enable accurate estimates.
• Coordinate with Estimating disciplines and engineering specialists.
• Prepare bid tabs, supplier/subcontractor quotations, and basis of estimate.
• Create estimate summaries and client submission documents.
• Prepare indirect cost estimates (staff, prelims, etc.).
• Support handover of estimating data to delivery teams.
• Build and maintain client/partner relationships.
• Engage with supply chain partners and communicate across teams.
• Support risk management and lesson-learnt incorporation in future projects.
