Rudding Park is seeking a Meetings & Events Sous Chef to lead the M&E kitchen team and ensure seamless event catering across conferences, weddings, and corporate functions. You will collaborate with the Head Chef and Development Chef to keep menus innovative and on trend.

The role requires managing junior staff, driving high standards, and ensuring strict health and safety compliance, food cost controls, and team collaboration within a luxury resort setting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Meetings & Events kitchen or high-volume catering.
• Knowledge of health and safety/COSHH regulations.
• Ability to manage junior staff and train them to high standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead, motivate, train and drive the team.
• Be open and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Work with Head Chef/Development Chef to create innovative menus.
• Use computer systems for stock rotation and ordering, and ensure food safety.
• Communicate feedback from Head Chef to the team positively.
• Control orders, deliveries and stock levels to meet food cost targets.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene standards and train junior staff accordingly.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety/COSHH protocols.
