Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln is seeking an experienced Meeting and Events Operations Manager to lead the delivery of meetings, conferences, weddings and other functions, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for every guest.

You will work closely with sales, kitchen and operations to plan and execute events to the highest standards, maintaining service excellence, driving performance and supporting the hotel's commercial success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Meetings and Events or hospitality operations management.
• Excellent guest experience focus and strong leadership.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day operation of the Meetings and Events department.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop team members.
• Ensure meetings and events are delivered to exceptional standards.
• Work closely with sales teams for seamless handover from booking to delivery.
• Manage event staffing, resources and operational requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients to exceed expectations.
• Monitor service standards and implement improvements.
• Handle guest and client feedback professionally and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing and standards.
• Support revenue opportunities through effective event planning and delivery.
