Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA in the UK is seeking a Meeting & Events Coordinator to connect guests, the sales team and hotel operations, ensuring events run smoothly from enquiry to delivery.
You’ll coordinate conferences, weddings, trainings, or celebrations, manage enquiries, prepare proposals, maintain event records and work with departments to convert enquiries into confirmed business, delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is part of the global Aimbridge Hospitality family, managing a diverse portfolio of hotels across the UK and Europe. We work with some of the world's leading hotel brands, including Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Accor, while also supporting independent properties.
At Aimbridge, people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in creating opportunities, developing talent, and helping our colleagues build rewarding careers.
This role offers far more than coordination and administration. It is an opportunity to build a broad understanding of how a busy hotel operates while gaining valuable commercial experience.
For someone with the right attitude and ambition, this position can open future career opportunities within either hotel operations or sales.
Alongside a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a range of benefits including:
As Meeting & Events Coordinator, you'll be the link between our guests, sales team and hotel operations teams, ensuring every event runs smoothly from enquiry through to delivery.
Whether you're helping to coordinate a conference, wedding, training event or celebration, you'll make sure information flows seamlessly between departments and that every detail has been captured accurately.
You’ll manage enquiries, prepare proposals, maintain event records, coordinate requirements with operational teams and support the conversion of enquiries into confirmed business. You’ll also work closely with hotel departments to ensure expectations are met and guests receive an exceptional experience.
No two days are the same. One moment you'll be speaking with a client about their event requirements, the next you'll be working with operational teams to ensure everything is in place behind the scenes.
We're far more interested in finding the right person than someone with a hospitality background.
You could be working in administration, customer service, recruitment, retail, travel, logistics, property, events or another fast-paced environment. What matters most is your ability to stay organised, build relationships and keep multiple priorities moving.
You’ll likely bring:
Experience within events or hospitality would be beneficial, but it is by no means essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career.
You’ll gain exposure to both the commercial and operational sides of the hotel business, providing a strong foundation for future progression. Whether your interests develop towards sales, revenue generation, events, operations or hotel leadership, we’ll help provide the development and support to get you there.
At Aimbridge, we recognise that people are the heart of our business. As a global hospitality leader, we’re committed to building diverse, inclusive teams and creating A Place to Grow for everyone.
If you’re highly organised, enjoy working with people and are looking for a role that offers variety, development and genuine career opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
