Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Wedding and Event Host to manage weddings and events with outstanding guest service. You will supervise the events team and ensure smooth operation across wedding days and busy hotel duties.

On non-event days you will act as duty manager, leading teams in restaurant, bar and reception to maintain exceptional standards and guest satisfaction.

• Experience in event and wedding operations.
• In-depth understanding of food and beverage industry standards.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

A day in the life of…

As Wedding and Event Host you will be responsible for looking after our weddings and events, this includes preparing and delivering excellent personal service, supervising the team, building rapport and relationships with brides grooms or key organisers. Separate from this part of the role on non event days you will be required to work as a duty manger looking after guests in a busy hotel, supervising and leading the team across the restaurant, bar and reception.

What do we need from you?

• Prior experience in event and wedding operations
• A deep understanding of food and beverage industry standards and best practices.
• You’ll be an inspirational people orientated person, with first class communication, and organisational skills.
• Prior experience of leading and supervising small groups of people
• You’ll be equipped with a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
