Job summary

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic clinical pharmacy team. You will play a key part in ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, delivering accurate medicines reconciliation and supporting medicines safety across the hospital.

You will work closely with pharmacists, nursing staff and prescribers to enhance every patient’s experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with appropriate qualifications.
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings is desirable.

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivatedMedicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic and supportive clinical pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines across our hospital. Working closely with pharmacists, nursing staff, prescribers and wider clinical teams, you will support high-quality patient care by delivering accurate medicines reconciliation, improving medicines safety, and helping patients get the most from their medicines. The pharmacy team are forward thinking and continuously strive to improve our ways of working, putting medicines optimisation at the heart of our clinical services.
