Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or training in medicines optimisation and patient-facing services.
• Understanding of repeat prescribing processes and safety practices.
• Ability to respond to patient queries professionally and coordinate with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical, technical and administrative duties to optimise prescribing and patient care.
• Lead improvements to maximise safe, cost-effective prescribing in line with NHS guidance.
• Participate in daily preparation of repeat prescriptions for care homes and list holders.
• Develop and review repeat prescribing protocols across the PCN to improve efficiency.
• Assist with medicines reconciliation and updating patient records in collaboration with pharmacists.
