We are seeking two experienced Medicines Management Pharmacy Assistants to join our team. There are two positions available: one based at Danesbury rehab ward (Welwyn) and the other at Herts and Essex rehab ward (Bishops Stortford). The roles offer 22.5 hours per week, ideally covering Monday to Friday.
The post holder will collaborate closely with a ward-based Pharmacist and the ward nursing team to deliver pharmaceutical care within the Trust, ensuring a safe, efficient, and cost-effective medicines management program. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to integrate into a well-established team. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with a good working knowledge of hospital pharmacy and primary care. Applicants must have experience working in a clinical setting with a multidisciplinary team. Computer literacy is essential; experience with SystmOne is desirable. The role includes a comprehensive training package tailored to individual needs.
