Hours of work - 30 per week

Day Lewis are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Dispenser. If successful, this role will support your development and future career in Medicine and Clinical Care.

The first stage of this career path at the Pharmacy Assistant level involves settling into our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Depending on previous pharmacy experience, you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course, which can take between 3-6 months.

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma - Principles and practices for Pharmacy Technicians is an integrated course tailored to the needs of the learner and the pharmacy, especially as the responsibilities and professional recognition of pharmacy technicians grow.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at the Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in providing advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers excellent customer service and operates effectively according to company policies and procedures.
• Assist on the front counter, providing a warm welcome and support to patients.
• Be an integral part of a small, dedicated team.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organizations to ensure effective and patient-friendly customer service.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment that rewards, recognizes, and empowers hardworking staff.
