Job summary

Isomorphic Labs is expanding its Medicinal Drug Design leadership. You will lead medicinal chemistry strategy, collaborating with AI/ML platform teams to accelerate drug discovery. This is a hands-on scientific leadership role in a fast‑growing, interdisciplinary environment.

You will partner with the Drug Design and Medical Research functions, mentor junior scientists, and help shape the pipeline across multiple modalities while driving delivery and innovation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Medicinal Chemistry or related field, or equivalent industrial experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in medicinal chemistry within biotech/pharma/CRO settings.
• Led medicinal chemistry efforts across discovery programs with DMPK awareness.
• Experience with structure-based drug design and CRO management.
• Strong publications/patents/presentations track record.
• Passion for AI/ML-driven drug discovery and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Invent new medicines and drive drug discovery programs to value inflection points.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver data-driven scientific solutions.
• Provide strategic input and technical direction to AI/ML platform teams.
• Represent the company externally with collaborators and CROs.
• Manage CRO resources and monitor KPIs to ensure delivery.
• Prepare scientific proposals and reports to support new programs.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues and promote inclusive culture.
