Job summary

Isomorphic Labs is seeking a Research Lead (Formulation Sciences) in London to lead formulation strategy across drug discovery and preclinical development. This hybrid role collaborates with AI/ML drug design platforms and cross-functional teams to drive rapid progress in candidate formulations.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD with 6+ years in biotech/pharma, specialising in oral solid dosage development and preformulation, and has experience supporting IND packages and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmaceutical science or equivalent with strong research background.
• 6+ years in biotech/pharma with formulation experience.
• Experience in preformulation and solid dosage development.
• Experience supporting IND packages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute (pre)-formulation strategies for small molecules.
• Design formulation technologies to optimise solubility and stability.
• Develop stability studies per ICH and ASAP with in-process controls.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary preclinical teams.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions.
