Job summary

Releaf Dispensary Ltd in Leigh is seeking a full-time consultant to join our growing clinic. You will conduct initial consultations by video, assess suitability for medical cannabis, and contribute to treatment planning within our MDT.

Based at our Leigh base, you will sign prescriptions, print and scan documents, and participate in the COD rota as needed. Strong communication and digital skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be on the GMC Specialist Register; only specialists can prescribe cannabis-based products in the UK.
• Full GMC registration and current license to practice.
• Right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS check where required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations by video call and assess suitability for medical cannabis.
• Attend MDT meetings to discuss complex cases and approve prescriptions.
• Issue initial prescriptions where clinically appropriate.
• Print, sign and scan prescriptions and notes.
• Manage non-shared care and follow-up reviews as required.
• Complete tasks to comply with SLA and COD rota duties.
