Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Medical Workforce Adviser to provide specialist medical staffing advice across the Trust.

You will develop and manage Resident Doctor rotas, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe working practices within a large NHS team. The role offers flexible working patterns and some home working on about a third of shifts.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent professional experience
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Evidence of continuing personal and professional development
• CIPD qualification or willing to undertake CIPD or HR module training
• Allocate Academy Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and manage Resident Doctor rotas and workforce plans
• Ensure compliance with Resident Doctor Contract and Working Time Regulations
• Support implementation of national medical workforce initiatives
• Coordinate and monitor exception reporting, analyze trends and improve safe working practices
