Joining the Medical Staffing Team as Medical Workforce Adviser will offer you the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and experience in a HR field that is unique to the NHS.
You will provide specialist medical staffing advice and support across the Trust, ensuring compliance with national terms and conditions of service, NHS employment legislation and medical workforce best practice.
Working within a team of over 21 you will have access to options to work flexibly on a pattern of a "nine day fortnight" and will have the ability to work from home on around 1/3rd of your working shifts.
The postholder will play a key role in the development, review and management of Resident Doctor rotas and workforce plans, ensuring compliance with the Resident Doctor Contract, Working Time Regulations and NHS England requirements.
The post holder with work to support the Trust implementation of national medical workforce initiatives such as the Resident Doctor 10-point plan and Resident Doctor Contract changes.
The role will also support the Guardian of Safe Working Hours by coordinating and monitoring exception reporting processes, analysing trends, supporting rota compliance reviews and contributing to improvements in safe working practices.
