Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to be part of our dynamic medical services postal team. We have a proven NHS background and are committed to providing excellent service to our customers for over 30 years.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sorting post received from GPs and Hospitals into pigeonholes and bagging it for surgeries in the morning.
2. Delivering the bags via MTS during the day.
3. Franking post from DHC sites for collection by the MTS driving team.
4. Maintaining, sorting, and collating post.
5. Operating the franking machine to a high standard without supervision.
6. Reporting for duty as scheduled and escalating problems to the Head of Dorset Post.
7. Completing daily checks on the post room vehicle and reporting any defects.
8. Driving the post room vehicle within Dorset Health Care area when required.
9. Keeping the office clean and tidy daily.
10. Maintaining accurate journey records and submitting them as required.
11. Undertaking any other work as directed by the Head of Dorset Post.
12. Ensuring driving compliance with Road Traffic regulations.
13. Promoting equality and diversity.
