Job description

Medical Secretary

Bournemouth Hospital | Administration | Bank | Part time

£12.33 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Please note that attendance at site will be required.

As a Medical Secretary at our hospital, you’ll bring a keen eye for detail, strong secretarial skills and great communication abilities. You’re proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you’re committed to providing our teams with the best level of support.

As a Medical Secretary, you will:

  • Deliver high quality administration and secretarial support to the hospital consultants
  • Enjoy the satisfaction of providing truly exceptional customer service.
  • Prioritise a busy workload, whilst also keeping calm under pressure and remaining professional at all times.
  • Diary Management, Audio type of clinical reports & letters to a high standard, booking appointment, email management
  • Be the primary contact for patients, providing clear communication and excellent customer service.
