East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Medical Secretary to manage administrative duties within various medical departments. This role demands excellent medical typing qualifications, communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Successful candidates will support healthcare professionals in delivering quality care and ensure smooth office operations.
An outstanding opportunity for a Medical Secretary within the following departments are available:
Orthopaedics - Permanent 37.5 hours
Urology - Permanent 30 hours
A&E - 7.5 hours
Various Areas - 21 hours

You will have medical typing qualifications and previous experience as a Medical Secretary. You will have excellent communication skills and be particularly caring and understanding. Experience in the use of Medisec, Digital Dictation, PAS and e-Referral would be an advantage.

To manage the office administration of the Consultant and designated medical staff, and provide an efficient and effective secretarial service. The post-holder acts as the first point of contact for all forms of communication for the Consultant and their team.
