An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our current experienced Medical Secretariat Team within EMRS Division at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Secretary who can provide a competent and effective Secretarial Service to Consultants and their teams within EMRS Division.
By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors within the Division in person and/or in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.
The post holder must be able to work with limited supervision, use own initiative, keep to strict deadlines and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary is essential. You should have knowledge of office equipment and systems along with word/processing/typing or equivalent and knowledge of Medical Terminology.
