Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Receptionist with leadership and management skills. Responsibilities include appointment scheduling, patient accounts, electronic insurance submissions, receptionist duties, and maintaining clinic operations.

Join our friendly, professional team and contribute positively to our environment. We seek someone with strong customer service, sales, marketing, administrative abilities, and experience in a medical setting, preferably with TM3 software.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Handling telephone inquiries and bookings
  • Managing electronic diaries and appointment scheduling
  • Producing clinical letters and administrative support
  • Updating clinicians with patient admin (referrals, correspondence, reports)
  • Communicating effectively with team members, patients, contractors, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Recognizing and adapting to individual communication needs
  • Submitting invoices to insurance companies and group accounts

Procurement

  • Ensuring timely procurement of physiotherapy and shop supplies
  • Procurement of clinic stationery

Quality Assurance

  • Monitoring quality and risk issues
  • Managing time, workload, and resources efficiently
  • Reflecting on performance and taking accountability

  • Maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect for all

Personal/Professional Development

  • Participating in annual performance reviews and maintaining development records
  • Attending mandatory training, including HR, Accounts, Marketing, Medical environment, and TM3 software training

Job Type: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, morning (7am-3pm) or evening (12pm-8pm). You will be the main person leading reception.

Salary range based on experience and qualifications: £22,000 - £40,000.
