Job summary

Aspion are currently looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join a busy GP practice in Preston. The role involves reception and front-of-house duties, answering calls, booking appointments and updating patient records, in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be EMIS trained, with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to work under pressure. This full-time on-site position offers an immediate start and Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• EMIS trained or confident using EMIS in a primary care setting.
• Experience as a medical/GP receptionist.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Reception and front-of-house duties.

Aspion are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Medical Receptionist to join a busy GP practice in Preston.

The ideal candidate will be EMIS trained, confident working in a primary care environment, and available to start immediately.

The role:

• Monday to Friday, full-time working
• Immediate start available
• Based in Liverpool
• Reception and front-of-house duties
• Answering telephone calls and dealing with patient enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments
• Updating patient records and maintaining accurate information
• Liaising with GPs, nurses and other members of the practice team

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a medical/GP receptionist
• Is fully trained and confident using EMIS
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is professional, friendly and approachable
• Can work well under pressure in a busy practice environment

Morning and afternoon start times Monday to Friday
