Job Description:

Themis Recruit are looking for a dedicated Medical Negligence Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE who shares our clients passion for achieving justice for clients. The successful candidate will have experience in handling inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases, and claims involving Human Rights Act issues. Due to recent successes and continued growth, our client are now seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of medical negligence matters with a focus on inquests, fatal cases, and claims involving Human Rights Act issues.
  • Provide clear, empathetic, and client-focused advice to clients and their families throughout complex legal processes.
  • Liaise with expert witnesses, counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a team-focused environment, contributing expertise and supporting junior team members as required.
  • Work with the firm’s commitment to training, IT innovation, and efficient case management practices.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE in medical negligence, inquests, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing claims involving psychiatric injuries, fatal claims, and/or Human Rights Act issues.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle high-value, complex clinical negligence matters.
  • A proven commitment to client care with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for promoting access to justice and working in a team-oriented environment.
