Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled clinical laboratory professional to join the Exeter site. The role performs qualitative and quantitative tests using automated analyzers or manual methods on specimens such as blood and urine, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

The position includes QA testing, instrument calibration, documentation, phlebotomy, and supporting students and staff as needed. Evening full-time schedule and weekend rotation are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of direct laboratory experience.
• ASCP, AMT, HEW or eligible; must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs qualitative and quantitative tests using automated instrumentation or manual methods.
• Performs quality assurance procedures and maintains documentation; investigates deviations.
• Assesses accuracy of results and troubleshoots instrument issues; may train students and staff.
• Performs phlebotomy according to established protocols.
• Processes orders, handles specimen receipt, and provides customer service.
