Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years directly related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative tests using automated instrumentation or manual methods.
• Conduct quality assurance procedures, calibrations, and document results.
• Assess accuracy of results and interpret findings for patient care.
• Maintain records of tests and final results for inquiries.
• Troubleshoot instruments and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in instructing students and staff in diagnostic methods.
• Perform phlebotomy per protocol and provide customer service.
• Perform order entry and specimen receipt.
