Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Medical Hoist Engineer (Field Service) to join its engineering team for a Oxford to Guildford patch. The role involves maintenance, inspections and on-site servicing of healthcare lifting equipment across a local area.

You will receive training from senior engineers, work a Monday to Friday 8:00–16:30 schedule, and benefit from a company van, overtime, and progression opportunities within the medical devices field.

Qualifications

• Full driving license is required.
• Experience with medical lifting equipment, such as hoists, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance of healthcare lifting equipment.
• Conduct LOLER inspections on medical devices.
• Work as part of a team and independently across a local patch.
• Receive training from senior engineers and through external courses.
• Cover a local patch with standard hours (8:00–16:30).
• Door-to-door pay is offered.
