Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover an Oxford to Guildford patch, servicing healthcare lifting equipment and performing LOLER inspections. You will travel to customer sites, conduct preventive and reactive maintenance, and receive on‑the‑job training from senior engineers.

The role offers door‑to‑door pay, a company vehicle, Monday–Friday hours (8:00–16:30), and clear progression into a senior role with ongoing training and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with medical lifting equipment such as hoists.
• Valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance of healthcare and lifting equipment.
• Conducting LOLER inspections.
• Working as part of a team and independently.
• Receiving training from senior engineers.
