VerseOne Group is seeking a hands-on MEMS technician to support hospitals across Basildon, Southend and Mid Essex in maintaining critical medical equipment. You will commission, calibrate, test and deploy devices, investigate faults and perform regular servicing to ensure reliability with limited downtime.

Aufgaben

• Commission, calibrate, maintain, repair and deploy complex medical equipment, including infusion devices, patient monitors and defibrillators.
• Investigate faults, analyse test results and provide effective technical solutions.
• Carry out planned maintenance and ensure accurate equipment and maintenance records are maintained.
• Support clinical users with the safe and effective operation of medical devices, providing guidance and training where required.
• Work closely with clinical teams, technical colleagues, IT and equipment suppliers to resolve issues and maintain service standards.
• Ensure equipment is ready for deployment from the Medical Equipment Library and respond to urgent faults involving patient-connected equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and support the timely procurement of parts and accessories.
• Prioritise workload and contribute to audits, quality monitoring and service improvements in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Support, supervise and mentor junior MEMS staff while maintaining your own professional development.
