A leading organization in medical education is seeking a Medical Education Development Administrator to provide essential administrative support. This role involves managing communications with stakeholders, organizing meetings, and contributing to the quality assurance of medical training. As a Medical Education Development Administrator, you will play a vital role in contributing to the achievements of the Medical Education Development (MED) team by providing administrative and organizational support to aid the delivery of the GMC’s quality assurance of multi-professional education and training within our Education and Standards directorate.
The MED team reviews multiprofessional curricula and postgraduate medical assessments against our standards. We also approve training programmes, support colleges and deaneries with queries and concerns, and get involved in a range of cross-directorate projects.
We’re looking for a permanent MED Administrator to join our team based in our Manchester office with hybrid working and flexible options available.
This role involves hybrid working, with expected attendance at the office once a week, and additional days as required. The successful candidate will also need to attend in-person for induction and training.
The MED team handles complex queries regarding curricula and assessment work with internal and external stakeholders to assess requests to change curricula against our standards.

This is a full-time role (35 hours, Monday to Friday), with flexible working options considered.
