Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hospital-based Endoscope Technician within this leading global manufacturer of products used in surgical and general testing environments, based in Guildford, Surrey.
THE ROLE

Based on site in Guildford, the role of the Onsite Medical Device Technician will be responsible for the technical and on-site support of a range of products used in various healthcare environments.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Attending the facility at agreed times to support the client across all areas as directed.
  2. Managing various medical devices on a day-to-day basis.
  3. Providing client support in clinical areas to ensure equipment functionality and proper use, allowing staff to focus on patient care.
  4. Training and educating clients on device use and services as required by the facility.
THE PERSON

The successful candidate will have experience working in a healthcare environment, such as within the NHS, private hospitals, or armed forces (including REME, RAF, Navy). Experience with medical procedures or working with medical devices like endoscopes in sterile services is advantageous. This role is suitable for a combat medic, healthcare assistant, theatre assistant/nurse, scrub nurse, or similar professional seeking a new opportunity with growth potential.
