Job Title: Scientific Lead – Medical Communications

About the Role

As a Scientific Lead, you’ll work closely with our Client Engagement, Medical Communications, and Writing teams to shape high-quality scientific content that drives brand strategy and supports medical communication goals. You will guide projects across various therapy areas, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and value in every deliverable—from educational materials and symposia to advisory boards and digital content.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning and delivery of scientific communication initiatives for global clients and brands.
• Ensure all materials align with scientific objectives, are accurate, and meet regulatory standards.
• Create and oversee the development of original scientific content (publications, slide decks, workshops, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop communication strategies and drive innovation.
• Mentor and support writing teams to elevate therapy area knowledge and content quality.
• Represent scientific insight in client meetings and support business development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare (PhD, PharmD, MD preferred).
• 5+ years of international medical communications experience—agency or pharma.
• Proven experience in scientific writing, strategy, and content development.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Fluent in English (a second major European language is a plus).
• Experience in digital solutions, innovation, and multi-cultural work environments is highly desirable.
