The Role

Associate Scientific Director to join the medical communications team based in Cheshire:

  • Provide scientific project leadership and direction across multiple workstreams including a large publications account.
  • Therapy areas likely to include Haematology, Rare Diseases, Immunology, and Oncology.
  • Apply strategic thinking to build trusting and influential client relationships.
  • Mentor, coach, and review the work of medical writers to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Produce clear and creative scientific products.

You

Likely to be a Senior or Principal Medical Writer with scientific project leadership experience from a Medical Communications agency:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically medical affairs.
  • Experience developing, mentoring, and coaching junior colleagues and reviewing their work for quality and integrity.
  • Comfortable having strategic conversations with clients and generating organic account growth.
  • Keen to build on your experience providing scientific direction to projects.
