Job description

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $5,000 (prorated for part-time positions) when hired into a full-time position with a 2-year commitment. The bonus is paid in three installments: $1,000 at the first paycheck, $1,500 after 1 year, and $2,500 after 2 years.

Job Description:

Under the general supervision of the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant II (MA II) is responsible for basic clinical duties required to prepare a patient for the provider visit in the ambulatory clinic setting. The MA II works collaboratively with the practice team to ensure efficient and effective operations while maintaining confidentiality of all patient records, medical treatment, and diagnosis, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistance or comparable training program. Two years of Medical Assistant experience will be considered in lieu of training.

Experience:

1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
