Job description

Job description. We are looking to add a new team member to our busy and growing medical practice. Must have a positive attitude, be organized, and patient care focused. Reliability and a good work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome patients by greeting them in person or on the phone, answering or referring inquiries.
2. Prepare patients for healthcare visits by guiding them to the exam room, providing gowns and drapes, helping them position for examinations or treatments, and arranging instruments and supplies.
3. Verify patient information through interviews, review medical history, record vital signs, and confirm the purpose of visits or treatments.
4. Perform injections with confidence and exceptional attention to detail.
5. Support patient care during examinations and educate patients on medications and diet, answering questions.
6. Complete records by documenting examination, treatment, and test results.
7. Record billing information, complete insurance forms, and respond to third-party inquiries to generate revenue.
8. Maintain supplies by inventorying, ordering, and verifying receipt.
9. Follow safety standards and legal regulations to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
10. Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards, policies, and legal requirements.
11. Contribute to the practice's reputation by taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities to add value.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong injection skills
• Ability to manually take vital signs
• Proficiency in eClinical Works

Additional Details:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Work Location: In person
