Day-to-day responsibilities as a Full-Time Optometric Medical Assistant

As a new team member, your daily tasks will include welcoming patients, managing appointment schedules, assisting in preliminary eye exams, performing vision tests, gathering patient histories, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. You will also engage with patients, providing information and support regarding their eye care needs. Additionally, you'll work closely with optometrists, assisting in procedures and documenting findings accurately. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.
