About the Role

Are you a commercially minded visual storyteller who knows how to capture attention, build engagement, and run impactful campaigns?

As our Media & Marketing Assistant, you will be at the strategic and creative pulse of Moore House Group. In this hands‑on, full‑time role, you will blend multi‑channel marketing, graphic design, and multimedia production to strengthen our brand awareness, generate high‑quality engagement, and champion our key initiatives. From spearheading digital campaigns for our flagship Annual Conference and producing podcasts to managing our content pipelines and analysing conversion metrics, your work will be central to driving our growth and connecting with our audiences across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign Delivery & Multi‑Channel Marketing: Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across email, social, web, and print to raise the profile of the Group, promote services, and support organisational objectives.
  • Annual Conference Promotion & Engagement: Lead creative marketing and audience‑engagement initiatives for the Group’s flagship Annual Conference—delivering pre‑event promotional campaigns to drive ticket registrations, producing on‑the‑day digital coverage, and generating post‑conference highlight assets.
  • Content Creation & Visual Storytelling: Design eye‑catching, on‑brand graphics and multimedia assets (video, photo, motion graphics/animation) for targeted marketing funnels, promotional collateral, email campaigns, web, and print.
  • Podcast Production: Support the end‑to‑end recording, editing, and publishing of Group podcast episodes, including capturing high‑quality audio/video, repurposing episodes into bite‑size social teasers, and building a loyal listener base.
  • Social Media Growth & Community Management: Drive audience growth across our primary platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.) through targeted content planning, active community engagement, and trend monitoring.
  • Communications, PR & Copywriting: Craft persuasive, audience‑specific copy for external marketing materials, landing pages, newsletters, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Website Optimisation & Digital Maintenance: Keep web content and campaign landing pages fresh, engaging, and search‑optimised via our WordPress CMS.
  • Marketing Analytics & Performance Reporting: Track and report on key digital and marketing metrics (reach, click‑through rates, conversion, delegate registrations, and podcast downloads) to evaluate ROI and continually refine output.
  • Events & Collaborative Support: Support the promotion, coordination, and on‑site delivery of Group workshops, exhibitions, and training courses, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers (printers, sponsors, agencies).

  • Creative Eye & Toolkit: Strong hands‑on proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or modern creative suites (e.g., Canva/Figma).
  • Digital & Social Savvy: Proven track record running social media channels, engaging professional and public audiences, and utilising modern short‑form formats (e.g., Reels, carousels, vertical video).
  • Web & Content Systems: Practical experience managing or updating WordPress websites and campaign landing pages.
  • Communication & Copywriting: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for writing persuasive, engaging marketing copy tailored to distinct audiences.
