Job description

Who are we?

A world where complexity is the only constant demands a new breed of company. Brave Bison is a different beast: a media, marketing and technology company purpose built for the digital era.

Our universe is made up of award-winning business arms Brave Bison, Engage, MTM and SocialChain. And we’re underpinned by our very own social-first media network who deliver monthly views in the billions for some of the biggest channels in sport and entertainment across YouTube, Snap, Meta and TikTok.

We’re a global collective who live and breathe digital, working with some of the boldest brands in the world to capitalise on the complexity that defines the modern marketing landscape.

Our mission

New platforms, new behaviours, new audiences, new trends, new technologies, new regulations — our clients’ worlds get more complex daily. Their agency partnerships shouldn’t. At Brave Bison, we believe it’s our job to cut through the chaos, make the complex simple and navigate a clear path to growth for them. That’s why we make it our mission to capitalise on complexity for our clients—by crafting dynamic digital solutions that outpace tomorrow’s challenges.

Our values

We’re a proudly diverse business comprised of deep specialists across social media, digital marketing and technology. Although our skills, backgrounds and beliefs may differ, we are united by four core shared values:

  • Bold Curiosity.

We run at change and challenge convention because we love to push the boundaries of what the world thinks is possible. We champion discovery, go deep into our clients’ worlds and are always hungry to learn more about them, our specialisms and each other.

  • Connected Clarity.

We are focused in our collaboration — joining the right dots between our clients, our partners and our herd of experts to deliver agile solutions at speed and scale. We set a shared ambition from the outset, are transparent at every stage and always strive to make the complex simple.

  • Positive Encouragement.

We want to make working with us the best part of someone’s day. We lift one other up, find the fun in the day to day and are committed to ensuring everyone belongs.

  • Constant Impact.

We believe in outcomes over outputs. We’re goal orientated, results driven and data-led.We show up with passion every day. And we’re always honing our craft.

Who are you?

We’re looking for an ambitious and multi-talented editor and producer to join our marketing team working across our specialist business units who deliver leading performance marketing, commerce technology, social media, insights and strategy, and sports marketing services for some of the UK’s biggest brands.

As part of your role, you’ll own audio and video production for our three podcasts, from first brief to final distribution, as well as on-site content capture and production at our conferences and events. You should have a keen eye for detail, enjoy finding the best moment within long form and short form content, plus be able to work quickly and efficiently within a dynamic team. You’ll also be the go-to person within the marketing team for all agency audio and video tasks. You’ll work alongside our designers, using templates to create assets for social and bringing stronger design thinking into everything we produce, and you’ll support with content capture and spatial design for our events.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be:

  • Curious: You’re eager to learn, enthusiastic, and ready to immerse yourself in a busy marketing department. You’re excited to understand how our work comes together, becoming a strong advocate for our projects and the values of our team.
  • Creative: You bring fresh ideas to the table and demonstrate an ability to create engaging content across various formats. Your passion for storytelling shines through your video and audio production work, and you’re keen to push the look and feel of what we make.
  • Organised: You stay calm under pressure and deliver high-quality work, even when faced with tight deadlines. You’re skilled at managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard. You’re also confident holding stakeholders to timelines and clear briefs.
  • Adaptable: You approach challenges with a can-do attitude, ready to learn and try new things. You enjoy working on diverse projects, keeping pace with the fast-changing world of video and audio production, and growing your skillset along the way.
  • Results-focused: You care about impact and you like to prove it. You’re comfortable digging into performance data, spotting what’s working and changing your approach as a result. For you, success means delivering meaningful, measurable results.
You’ll have experience in:
  • Audio production (Adobe Audition)
  • Video production (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut), with bonus points for After Effects and motion graphics experience
  • Generating short form social-first content from long form video and audio
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Reviewing video and podcast performance data and turning it into practical improvements
  • Be comfortable communicating with external guests and internal stakeholders
Your Role:

Every day brings new challenges and opportunities in the marketing team, and as producer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Podcast Production: Own production for our three podcasts, SocialMinds, Brave Talk and The Commentary Box. This includes attending recording sessions, producing high-quality audio edits and managing delivery timelines with hosts and stakeholders. You’ll also test new ways to grow reach, including optimising our YouTube channels for organic growth.
  • General Marketing Video Production: Produce engaging video content for the marketing department across all of our business units, including new and recurring formats on our social channels, agency reels and internal end of quarter highlights films. You’ll raise the quality of our existing content formats with new editing techniques, animation and more design-led treatments where they fit, and develop new video formats or styles in line with industry trends.
  • Design and Brand Alignment: Work closely with our design team to build stronger design elements into video, such as templates, motion graphics and branded overlays. You’ll make sure every video reflects the brand identity of the business unit it belongs to.
  • Event production: Supporting with on-site content capture at our in-person live events, editing post-event content and general event production assistance. You’ll help shape the briefing process and conceptualisation for larger video projects and bring ideas for new ways to film and edit off the back of events so we get more from every shoot.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitoring and analysing the performance of video and podcast content. You’ll manage monthly reporting in these areas to ensure these formats are optimised for engagement, aligned with strategic goals, and driving meaningful outcomes.
  • Internal Engagement: Inspiring our internal teams to engage with marketing content by regularly sharing new work such podcast episodes and social video assets.
  • Social Media Presence: Elevating our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and more) by developing a consistent stream of engaging, platform-specific short form video content and still image graphics, working with our marketing team who will provide compelling copy to match these assets.

This role requires a mixture of skills in creativity, video and audio production, editing and graphic design. You should be open to learning new ways of working and bring fresh and excited ideas of how we can improve our current output across all marketing channels and formats.
