Serco is seeking a talented media and external affairs manager to lead media and external communications initiatives, promoting Serco's work and defending its position. Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Director, you will collaborate across regions to elevate Serco's brand and reputation.

You will need to generate compelling stories, have excellent media skills, and proactively identify opportunities with media, social media, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Media Relations: Develop proactive media stories and manage media relationships.
• Social Media: Contribute to social media strategy and maximize reach.
• Strategic Communication: Create and implement external communication plans with senior leaders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
• Content Creation: Produce content for various channels.
• Storytelling: Share impactful stories and case studies.
• Collaboration: Support internal and external communications alignment.
• Evaluation & Rebuttal: Assess campaign effectiveness and manage coverage.
