Job summary

Roxel UK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Summerfield, Kidderminster. You will maintain and enhance plant performance using electrical and mechanical skills and provide flexible support to production and factory services.

Essential duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and logging of work activities. You will train new apprentices and ensure safety and quality compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical and mechanical qualifications.
• Mechatronics apprenticeship with NVQ L3 or equivalent in engineering maintenance.
• 18th Edition BS7671 certification (desirable).
• 2391/52 inspection and testing qualification (desirable).
• PLC programming and fault finding (desirable).
• Microsoft Office and CMMS experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Comply with SHE and safety requirements.
• Record work details, root causes, and consumables.
• Log downtime and monitor repairs using CMMS.
• Maintain and support production and factory services.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules.
• Diagnose faults and rectify plant/equipment.
• Identify root causes and improve asset reliability.
• Provide rapid response to plant breakdowns.
• Train apprentices in maintenance discipline.
