Job summary

Roxel UK is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to industrialise manufacturing processes at Summerfield, Kidderminster. You will design and commission production systems, optimise flow and layouts, and support bid costing with manufacturing input.

You will apply APQP, PFMEA and lean tools to reduce waste, cut cycle times and improve process capability. A background in aerospace or automotive manufacturing and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering/manufacturing qualification (HND or above) required.
• Desirable Green Belt in Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Experience in Aerospace/Automotive/FMCG manufacturing and ISO 9001.
• IT literate with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, source and commission production systems to meet timetable, quality and cost targets.
• Produce capacity plans and forecasts for production.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean techniques and value engineering.
• Support resolution of production stoppages and provide technical input to reviews.
• Carry out PFMEA, control plans and APQP in line with EN9100/QMS.
