Job Title: Test Technician

We are seeking a test technician with comprehensive all-round precision engineering experience, including mechanical test validation and verification, to join our in-house test facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in component and product testing, mechanical testing, assembly, disassembly, and test equipment maintenance, calibration, environmental screening, modification, troubleshooting, and repair.

Required qualifications include a mechanical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in mechanical engineering. Additional desired skills are:

1. Mechanical fitting skills with practical ability using hand and power tools.
2. Experience with mobile hydraulics.
3. Pneumatics knowledge.
4. Understanding of pressure systems.
5. Experience with pressure equipment, e.g., accumulators or pulsation dampeners.
6. Familiarity with pressure safety equipment, such as pressure relief valves.
7. Knowledge of fluid power systems, including pumps, piping, and valves.
8. Experience in plant maintenance activities, including installation, fault finding, and repairs of equipment and services.
9. Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
