Join our facility in Birmingham, supporting battery recycling operations, with initial hours from 7:30 am to 4 pm, shifting later to 7 am - 3 pm & 2 pm - 10 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble high voltage vehicle batteries to module level
  • Connect batteries to cycler for discharging and testing
  • Communicate disassembly status using documentation
  • Maintain equipment per manufacturer and EMR procedures
  • Diagnose and resolve issues, engaging engineers as needed
  • Develop and follow standard operating procedures and documentation
  • Ensure traceability through accurate record-keeping
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements, using PPE
  • Perform risk assessments and develop best practices for quality
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum BTEC or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
  • IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement
  • Mechanical competence and proactive learning attitude
  • Maintain a tidy, safe workspace to 5S standards
  • Problem-solving skills with data interpretation ability
  • Awareness of high voltage automotive electrical systems
  • Experience with complex electro-mechanical components disassembly
  • Forklift operation skills
  • Ability to set up and use diagnostic test equipment
