Qualifications

  • Experience with equipment like boilers, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, and PSSR standards.
  • Background in Power Generation, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas preferred.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fault finding and maintaining mechanical assets, including boilers, turbines, pumps, valves, and conveyors.
  • Ensuring compliance with pressure regulations and lifting gear inspection requirements.
  • Supporting plant inspections, fault investigations, and improvement projects.
  • Supervising contractors and maintaining accurate records using the CMMS.
  • Assisting in outage planning, scheduling, and ensuring the availability of spares.

What we want from you:

  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Maintenance experience with equipment such as boilers, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety standards, including LOLER, PUWER, and PSSR.
  • Background in industries like Power Generation, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas.
  • Marine Engineers from the Merchant Fleet or Royal Navy will also be considered.
