Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with mechanical equipment inspections and maintenance.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Bioresources

Salary: Circa £45k depending on experience (includes 15% shift allowance) + overtime available

Hours: Full time, 40.25 hours/week, across a 7-day working pattern

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you will be part of a site maintenance team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, valves, and centrifuges. Your work will support the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling assets, contributing to environmental protection and renewable energy production aligned with Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or relevant apprenticeship
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided)
• Flexible and resilient approach to work and training
