Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Mechanical Technician (Workshop Engineer) for an international forklift manufacturer located in Grantham. You will carry out PDI, service and repair work on a range of forklift trucks at a client's site, in a dedicated workshop, with full training and support from the local engineering team.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a salary up to £36,000 plus a 6% employer/4% employee pension, overtime at time 1.5 and 2.0, 25 days holiday plus bank

Qualifications

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

Mechanical Technician role available in an international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering full training on the products.

The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, vehicles, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.

You'll be based at a client's site in Grantham responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklift trucks. You'll be the sole engineer on site with a dedicated workshop, there will be plenty of support from the engineering team working in the Nottinghamshire area.

The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief:
