Job summary

Luton Bennett is seeking a Mechanical Technician (Workshop Engineer) in Grantham. You will be based at a client’s site and responsible for planned maintenance and breakdowns on a range of forklift trucks, operating as the sole engineer with workshop support from the Nottinghamshire team.

The role requires experience with plant or related equipment, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a busy workshop environment. Training will be provided by a global manufacturer.

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PDI’s, service and repair on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks at a client’s site.

Mechanical Technician role available in an international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering full training on the products.

The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, vehicles, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.

You’ll be based at a client’s site in Grantham responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklift trucks. You’ll be the sole engineer on site with a dedicated workshop, there will be plenty of support from the engineering team working in the Nottinghamshire area.

The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief:
