Job description

AVA Energy are working with a leading OEM in the Power Generation space, in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the United Kingdom.

Job Summary:

• Perform dismantling, inspection, condition assessment, and reporting on received equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to recommend repairs, refurbishments, and processes to restore equipment to serviceable condition per specifications.
• Responsible for partial and full assembly, including balancing, pressure testing, and customer acceptance testing of equipment.
• Execute mechanical fitting tasks with flexibility, integrity, and efficiency.
• Be responsible for onsite Health and Safety.

Education/Experience:

• Apprenticeship up to NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years experience with pumps and rotating equipment, including repair, maintenance, and refurbishment.
