Job summary

THREE60 Energy’s Operations Division is recruiting a Mechanical Technician for an offshore rotational role, mobilising from Dyce, Aberdeen.

The role involves preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance on process plant and equipment, with MMS procedures, and requires offshore experience and multiple competence certificates.

Qualifications

• Offshore mechanical maintenance experience essential.
• MMS proficiency essential.
• Core Trade competence in mechanical discipline (apprenticeship or HNC/HND).
• Right to work in the UK essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and remedial maintenance in MMS schedule, focusing on safety critical activities.
• Fault finding and diagnostic checks on site equipment; address repairs promptly.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding and investigations.
• Perform major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment.
• Contribute to Root Cause Analysis to improve reliability.
• Maintain records in MMS and identify follow-up work/materials.
• Keep logs and handovers accurate at shift changes.
• Suggest ideas to improve efficiency while maintaining integrity.
• Support and share knowledge to improve team performance.
• Participate in competence scheme and any multi-skilled role.

THREE60 Operations Division are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Technician to join the team on a full time, fixed term basis until at least the end of 2026.

The successful candidate will maintain process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while executing planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance in accordance with Maintenance Management System (MMS).

This is an offshore rotational role mobilising out of Dyce, Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with the Maintenance Management System (MMS) schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on all site equipment, ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly
• Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out and apply effective fault finding and investigation techniques
• Carry out major services, overhauls and intrusive maintenance on site equipment
• Carry out and participate in Root Cause Analysis to improve equipment reliability
• Ensure comprehensive work history is recorded in the Maintenance Management System (MMS) and any follow up work and material required is identified
• Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change
• Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management
• Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices
• Participate in the Company’s competence scheme including any multi skilled role in accordance with the relevant competence framework
• Adopt a flexible working attitude to provide support across all departments to ensure team success
• Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify and minimise interpersonal conflict
• Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels
• Apply mechanical isolations as required for maintenance and repairs
