Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Mechanical Systems Engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to theMechanical Systems Manager, and work alongside dedicated and passionate teammates.You’ll support the Services Engineering business responsible for vehicles already in passenger service.The MechanicalSystems Engineer shall specify one or several train functions and associated sub-system(s) at train level and lead technically the engineering studies to reach the required performances at train level. This role is on a permanent contract offering significant potential for career growth.

The role would suit a mechanical or electro-mechanical engineer, you’ll have suitable rolling stock experience with experience of writing requirement specifications, risk assessments and defining and writing overhaul instructions.The role involves communication with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers so good communication skills are critical. You’ll be expected to take ownership of work packages and ensure that all parties come together for the successful conclusion of work to time and budget expectations.
