Job summary

VGC Group are currently recruiting a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a major project in Bristol. This is long-term work within a safe, high-performing, collaborative environment.

Pay rate is £33.00 PAYE with Monday–Friday 7am–5pm hours and potential overtime. Lodge pay may be offered for the right candidate, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• CSCS
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Fluid Power) OR NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance OR NVQ Level 3 Machinery Maintenance
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Safety Critical Medical (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating mechanical trades and subcontractors on site
• Manage day to day mechanical installation, maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance to project specifications and drawings
• Coordinate mechanical activities with other teams
• Review RAMS, permits, drawings and other relevant construction documentation before work commences
• Support planned and reactive maintenance
• Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with HSE requirements

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm + overtime potential

Lodge pay can be offered if the successful candidate meets the criteria.

As a Mechanical Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:
